..."Come and get your LEMONADE!!!"...
Our first lemonade stand was a big hit!
Daddy had to go out of town for the week, so the girls and I thought we'd pass the time by doing a lemonade stand. We started off with a family night lesson on money & tithing, and spent the rest of the week planning, practicing and preparing for a LEMONADE STAND!!!
10 Steps to having a successful lemonade stand:
#1: Have 4 extremely darling children in charge of sales...

#2: sell a variety of lemon items, including:
Lemon Penny Candies
Lemon Sugar Cookies
and Fresh-Squeezed Lemonade!

#3: wave signs up high and yell loud:
"lemonade for sale, just a quarter!"

(because "25 cents" was a little too hard to say, and often things like: "twenty fifty three" came out instead, ha ha ha:)

#4: Patiently wait for kind people to stop for a refreshing beverage!

#5: When customers stop, ask them politely:
"what can I get you today, ma'am/ sir?"
(best color-coordinated customer of the day):
#8- and kindly accept tips and place them in the piggy bank!
#9- and after many happy customers have come and gone...
Re-stock your supply:
Slice and squeeze some more lemons,
and have Grandma Lolly bring more homemade lemon cookies...
(#10- have a crazy mom who enjoys obsessing over list making, planning and coordinating this type of stuff!)
*Amelia was a HARD worker!
She got really good at waving her sign, filling cups, passing out cookies, and taste testing all the treats!
But as most 2 year olds do, she was quick to get exausted:
a hard days' work.
*Rylee Jo & Sophi had a huge run of customers to deal with on their own:
It was only moments after the little kids went inside for a break that a LONG line of cars showed up! It was one big drive-through service with two little 4 year olds in charge.

It was darling. I just took a step back and let them go to work...
Rylee quickly said:
"ok, Soph's, you get the cookies, and I'll get the drinks!"
