The BEST part of Summer!
& Boy oh boy, we sure had a FUN one with all our Swimming outings.
My 2 little fishy's just can't get enough of the water!

CHERRY HILL:

This was mine & the girls' most favorite outing together!

They felt so big & grown up when they could go down the slide by themselves! It was so cute to watch Rylee look at the lifeguard for the "ok" to go, then helping her sister take off!

My brave, underwater Cuties!

The Lazy River!

& Showin' Daddy how it's done!!!

This is where Rylee Jo really started to get good at swimming. Her amazing swimming skills started on our California trip, but then really picked up when we started swimming lots here...

Watch this short clip & CHECK HER OUT!!!
*unbelievable; this girl is just grinnin the whole swim:

Rylee Jo is brave as can be, and was so proud to be able to use her new swimming skills she learned this summer to jump off on her own & swim to the side! How exciting:)

Little milly, about 1 1/2 years old, had NO fear just jumping right off the diving board, and we realized she was pattling herself to the top of the water!

YOU HAVE GOT TO WATCH THESE VIDEOs!!!
So, we thought we'd let our brave little crazy try to swim on her own off the side of the pool:

Smith Family Vacation...

Smith Family Vacation
Newport, California: June 21st-28th

The trip started off perfect when Steve drove our car 13 hrs to Cali with all our luggage, as me & the girls took a quick 1 hr flight- free with our skymiles! Us three had a BLAST flying there. It made it a fun experience when we got to actually walk out to the plane old school style:)

Rylee felt so big having her own seat. The girls loved taking turns looking out the window with the binoculars!

THE BEACH

Yes, every last one of the Awesome Smith Clan were in attendance!

Our Beach Babes:

DISNEYLAND!
THANK YOU GRANDMA & GRANDPA!!!

This was our 2nd time to this Magical Land:)

Tea-Cups were once again the favorite:

This time "It's A Small World" was open:

We got stuck on Pirates of the Carribean for an hour!
"technical difficulties" turned out to be not such a bad thing... Milly got her nap, we got to sit inside with the cool air, and best of all- we got free fast passes to the rest of the rides for the day!!!

Ry & Abby enjoyed it:)

Gram-B with the 1/2 the grandkids:

Rylee's FAVORITE part about Disneyland was getting the characters autographs!
She was SO happy & excited when she got to meet them.

PLUTO

Minnie Mouse pointing out their matching Bows:

Our little Milly-Mouse loved coloring in the autograph book any chance she could, but broke away for the Street Party:
Rylee loved the yummy corn (nothing compared to those churros!):

By the end of the day, these two girls were pooped!

The ANGELS Game!

The girls' & my FIRST Pro Baseball game!

We had to stock up on our Angels' gear...

Swimming!
Gram-B & the girls:

Rylee Jo learned how to SWIM on this vacation! Wow- our little 3 yr old is so brave... it was so fun to see how proud of herself she was:)

MEDIEVAL TIMES!

Medieval Grandkids, here to cheer on the RED KNIGHT!

This was WAY FUN! For anyone who hasn't been to this type of event...
You sit in an outdoor arena-type setting as the king & the queen preside over a 4 course feast (which we of course ate with our hands) and watch the Knights in an authentic display of classic equestrian skills & medieval pageantry !
We were cheering on the Red Knight- the truest son of Mighty Castilla, Baron Ruiz de Roig!
Rylee was faithfully cheering on her Knight, as he rode up on his horse & presented her a white flower. Rylee was SO thrilled! She was jumping up & down & could not get over the shock of what happened! It was one of the happiest moments of the trip for her. She was so nervous towards the end of the show as she watched her Knight in Shinning Armour Joust to save the princess! She covered her eyes & said: "I can't watch... tell me how it ends!"

What a GREAT family trip!

I think this SUPER long post of a billion photos is bound to get the point across that it was a SUPER fun Family vacation...
