Starters!!!

This Fall we started some new FUN activities.
It is SO fun to see my 2, tiny little girls involved in these new things which give them a new-found confidence! They are both so proud of their new skills & it is really fun for them to be learning so many new things:)

FIRST pair of TAP SHOES!!!
There is such a darling story behind this pair of Tap shoes...
Ever since the day we went to the studio to order & try out Rylee's tap shoes, she asked me daily if they were in yet. A week or so later when we finally got the call that they were in, she was SO SO SO excited. We immediately dropped everything & went & picked them up! That day, she did not want to take them off... she tapped all over the house, all day long! She made up her own little excited shuffle hop tap dance, and tapped for Daddy, for her grandma's, & any one else who'd watch! & Little sister Milly wore her black church shoes right along with her thinking she was tapping too!
But sadly, Rylee wore those new tap shoes a little TOO much, and got these awful blisters on her ankles. She was heart broken to find out they'd only go away if she kept them off for a few days. We had to work out a plan of only wearing them for 15 mins a day until dance started:(
Well, our plan worked, and she was SO happy when the first day of dance FINALLY came!!!

My Tiny Tapper:

On Rylee's first day of Dance, we had a special
Tap-Shoe pancake breakfast for my Tiny Tapper! With a special Dance bag mommy made her:)

Of course Amelia has to do EVERYTHING her big sister does,
so she had to dress up & wear
her "tap shoes" & pack her "dance bag" as if she was going to dance as well:)

Grandma Lolly was there to see our dancing sweety off to dance!

It was SO darling to watch Rylee in her beginner tap/ballet class!

What a sweet ballerina

first time in GYMNASTICS!!!
I now have 2 little Awesome Possums:

Milly's FIRST GYMNASTICS LEOTARD!!!
Milly got this new Leotard, and from the moment she put it on, it was as if she could do ANYTHING! It's hilarious! She loves her "wee-A-Tod", "ganacksticks" and to do everything her "felf":)

This little Tiger needed SOMETHING to put all that spunky, fireball energy into, and turns out that Gymnastics was Perfect! She is truly AMAZING at it! She has ZERO fear, and has such a brave, fun personality:) She is just a crack up to watch! She was Born to do this. She always gets to be the teachers helper & show the class what to do. It is SO super cute, and some GREAT bonding time for her & I.
She is really good at her Bear Crawls:

Rylee loves gymnastics as well. She loves & is so good at learning new tricks. She is really brave!

Rylee's First Day of PReScHoOL
While Rylee is in Preschool, Milly & I get to go do a fun playgroup together with all the little brothers & sisters!

They were both SO excited to start their first day! Rylee wanted Daddy to put her hair in a side pony again:) We got all ready, packed our new backpacks & the girls got on "the bus"... (our car) and "Frank", the bus driver (me), drove them to school, and on our drive we sang the wheels-on-the-bus! It was such a fun, special morning!

RYLEE & friends waiting for preschool to start!

Look at this BIG girl after her FIRST day of preschool:)
She is SO SO stinkin SMART! Rylee LOVES to tell me all about what she learned at Preschool, & and work on our Homework together!!!

One day our big school kids went on a nature walk using their 5 senses:
(popcorn for the sense of TASTE)

The Girls LOVE their preschool & playgroup!!!

Sisters

The Sweetest Sister Moment...
One afternoon the girls brought these dresses to me to help them put them on... after a while, I realized i had not heard them in quite some time. When i went up to check on them, they were in Rylee's room taking care of their babies, talking so sweetly & reading stories to each other. I watched them for over a half hour without them noticing. It was truly one of the sweetest moments I had ever witnessed!
It made me stop & remember that it's moments like these that matter, this is what life is about, &
THIS IS WHAT SISTERS ARE FOR:)

Kid-MOVIE THEATER days~

We had such a fun experience going the first time... My girls got all their "chores" done that morning to earn a dollar for the movie; We had watched 'Annie', and sang the song "let's go to the movies" all morning! They thought it was the greatest thing when they got to use their own money to by tickets & sit in their own seats... they felt so big!

Sweet Peas

Our Little Sweet Peas!
We LOVED our garden this summer!
We are really going to miss it this winter:(

Amelia LOVES Beets

Sweet Moments

This salad may not look that special, but we were SO proud, because EVERY VEGGIE was from OUR garden! Thats right, the spinach, lettuce, carrots, beets, broccoli, snap peas, green peppers, tomatoes... yup, that's right. Some seriously sweet GARDEN GOODNESS!
Talk about a GARDEN SALAD!!!

And our favorite summer pasta:
Garden Zucchini Pasta!

It is a flippin miracle that we can grow that all right in our yard! The best part about it was that our girls actually know where produce comes from. AND they LOVE it, because they were able to plant it, watch it grow, pick it and prepare it!

Cousin Outting...

This Is The Place Monument...
August 8th
A fun little outing one day with the Ralphs cousins!

We went on a train ride, rode the pony's & even got our faces "straight razored" at the old barber shop. It was a fun experience. Neat to see how the pioneers lived!

Rylee & Amelia LOVED the pony rides! I could not believe Milly was able to do it all by herself & enjoyed it so much.

Rylee thought she'd try this out... it was pretty funny:)
