We went up to Grandpa Alan's farm in Idaho! Not only was it SO beautiful up there, but it was just perfect weather, and the cows hardly stunk!
We LOVE when we get a chance twice a year to round up the cows and move them to/from the dry farm. We get a chance to work hard, and live a day in the life of a REAL FARMER?...
And Grandpa Alan will show us how to ROUGH it-
Steve had to CARRY this baby cow... NOT as light as it looks. He is just hours old. All Rylee could say about that was: "oh, poor cow!"
Lots of fun was had at the RALPHS FAMILY FARM!

ok ok i know that this is probably a family thing... but by now we would be common law married i think that i should be called next time you go and do this....mmmkkkkk!!!!! that looks like a lot of freaking fun!!!!
Looks like fun! Next time you are in Idaho you should swing on over and visit us in Oregon!
FYI-I am typing with a baby in one hand.
How much fun is that?!? I am jealous. I would love to show my boys real work like that. They would LOVE it.
BTW-Did steve like having to stop and hold the calf while posing for the picture because it does actually look quite heavy. Have you or steve ever considered trying out for American Gladiators? You can add it to your list of game shows tried out for.
