Camping up at Chalk Creek with our close friends!

It feels so good to be in the great outdoors, and be at one with nature!
Even Boone got to come along on our little getaway to center ourselves.
The kids enjoyed going on walks, and fishing with their Daddy... always a big hit in my girls' eyes:

We had a great time running around, and making our own ice cream. And of course, we ALL enjoyed the best part of the whole campout... the 'WHOOFUMS'!!! (the evolved 'smore- pudding pie fillings sent from heaven!)... and were all a little disapointed when all the ingredients for more ran out, but BOY oh BOY, you should have seen/heard the joy and excitement on our faces when we found another bag full! ha ha ha
Once the kids all fell asleep, the adults had a great time laughing, talking, and sharing those stories you'd only dare tell to those in the "circle of trust"! ha ha ha:)
good times.

I am very grateful we get the opportunity to do this with our friends, because otherwise, we may not make ourselves get out and do this kind of stuff on our own.
Everyone had a wonderful time up at the campout. Another successful year under our belt!
